Beauty Product Review Reviews

Product Review : SkinFood Egg White Pore Mask

A friend of mine recently tried importing products straight from Korea to sell. She offered me her products and I even helped her in selling them. Korean Skin Care Products are really nice and I am starting to love them! Since I am working from home, I no longer need to put make up on, but I still want to look presentable and naturally glowing. So I started minding those whiteheads, clogged pores, and pimples that have recently grown on my face. I’m not into face masks before, but I read that it has good benefits on our skin, so I’m trying different ones!

Here’s my review on SkinFood Egg White Pore Mask :

The Product

It is a wash-off mask that helps in unclogging pores from excess oil and dirt. It’s main active ingredients are egg white and albumin extract which are known sources of protein. Protein helps in making skin firmer.

The Experience

I don’t actually have problems with my pores until the summer heat hits me! I saw that my pores had opened, whiteheads production increases and the oiliness is unbearable!

This wash off mask comes in a very handy tub. I can easily use it right after cleansing my face. I am using my fingers when applying and gently massaging it into my skin. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.

Another good thing about it, is that it does not smell like egg at all! It’s fragrance is fresh and smells like a beauty soap.

The Be-Pore and After Results

I’ve been using this product for a month now, applying 2x a week. It softens the skin instantly! I love how it’s creamy but does not feel sticky at all. For a month, there has been noticeable change on my skin. It became smoother, softer, brighter and my pores shrank! This product also moisturizes without becoming oily, nice right?

Pros :

  • It uses natural ingredients
  • It smells nice!
  • It is creamy but not sticky, it’s not harsh to skin
  • Your skin will become soft and clean after each use
  • Unclogs the pores, especially those around my nose
  • It brightens and moisturizes the skin
  • Long lasting, economical

Cons :

  • It can become slippery when rinsing, so make sure to use lukewarm water
  • It does not have scoop/spatula to help users not to scoop out too much during the process

Where To Buy It?

I’m not sure if local drugstores have it, but I saw that it’s available in Lazada and Beauty MNL at around Php 450.00 per 250ml.
